Departing from San Carlos to Central Mexico, for a week-long tour visiting three cities: Valle de Bravo, Taxco and a peek at  beautiful Mexico City. We will visit one of the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuaries, while staying in a town known as “The Switzerland of Mexico”.  We continue in the countryside for two days in Taxco, a colonial town where the most skilled silversmiths of Mexico display their crafts. Then a delightful short introduction to Mexico City. You will be surprised by how easy it is to navigate beautiful and sophisticated Mexico City.  This fully escorted, small-group tour is accompanied by knowledgeable bilingual hosts.

Before reserving your spot by making a deposit, you should know that there is walking involved: in dirt paths and steps, uphill/downhill in the butterflies reserve; cobblestone streets and uphill/downhill in Taxco.
