OceanCamp is a non-profit learning center.
Our mission is to foster understanding, respect and love for Mexico, the Spanish language, and the oceans and seas and everything in them. We aspire to teach and excite both youngsters and adults.
Where is OceanCamp?
We are located on the shores of the most abundant, peaceful sea in the world -- the Sea of Cortés, in a small, spectacularly beautiful rural village called San Carlos, in the state of Sonora, Mexico. OceanCamp is just a few hours drive south of the US/Mexico border (near Tucson). An OceanCamp charter bus leaves from Tucson International Airport on the first day of each session. Or, you can fly here directly... Guaymas airport is 10 minutes south of San Carlos.

Customized Study Programs.
OceanCamp can customize unique and individualized guided study programs for individuals, families or groups. Complete packages are available including travel, lodging, meals, local transportation, study outdoor classes and/or seminars. Every "option" you may dream is available, including; sailing, snorkeling, scuba (PADI) instruction, kayak, mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, etc.
Some examples:
• Explore an estuary by kayak.
• Swim with dolphins, and seals.
• Horse back ride along miles of deserted beach.
• Hike trails that climb ancient volcanic mountains and wind through giant-cactus forests.
