TIDE POOL DISCOVERY
How many types of marine life will we see and photograph as we explore the shoreline?
Activities: A Marine biologist will help us explore the Inter Tidal Zone during low tides. We will use digital still cameras to photograph in and under the water, and live underwater video cameras will let us see under the surface to search for more marine life as we stay dry on the shore. What will we see? sea stars, sea urchins, shore crabs, sea anemone, Dog Whelk shell, seaweed and many fish.
Time: Approximately two hours
Cost: 90 pesos per person
Group size: 8 to 30 persons

STAR NIGHT - ASTRONOMY SESSIONS
Why can we see so many more stars here in the Sonoran Desert?

Activities: Basic astronomy lecture and night sky exploration using telescopes and computers to find objects in the night sky. Great views of Saturn and Jupiter. Update on one of the most beloved star pattern in the sky, the Big Dipper.

Time: approximately two hours
Cost: 80 pesos per person
Group size: 10 to 24 persons

POOR'S MAN TOUR TO ALAMOS
Overnight Visit to Alamos as a Spanish lesson. Let's go! (using public transportation).
We depart from San Carlos for a visit to the beautiful Colonial town of Alamos. We will use public transportation all the way and teach you how to make bus transfers for a round trip to Alamos. Your bus fare will be about 230 pesos per person.
On the adventure our native Spanish Language teachers and guides are right there to assist you with communications -- but it is up to you to try and "just do it - and say it - in Spanish." We will have walking tours and meet the locals.

Cost: 800 pesos per person, which includes one night hotel, based on double occupancy, language lessons, and local information. Limited to 16 persons. Departure from the parking lot next to the bank. Return in the evening on the next day.
